Too often in Prince George’s County, developers over-promise and under-deliver, leaving us with projects that come in over budget, behind schedule, and poorly built. It’s time to change how we build. In this video, I explain why Project Labor Agreements (PLAs) are a win-win for District 9. By using PLAs, we can ensure our infrastructure is built by skilled local hands, guarantee family-sustaining wages, and most importantlyprotect your tax dollars from being wasted on "lowest-bidder" shortcuts and backroom deals.
