I am so honored to join my friends at Indivisible Bowie and Beyond for their "Ready, Set, VOTE!" meet-and-greet on Sunday, May 17th. I’ve been proud to work in solidarity with the organizers at IBBMD since the rise of the Trump administration, witnessing firsthand how their dedication protects our community from the harmful impacts of federal overreach and corporate greed.

Local elections are our strongest defense against the status quo. This event is designed to strip away the usual barriers between candidates and voters, moving past the rehearsed debate stage and into real, one-on-one conversations about the future of District 9. I’ll be there from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Kenhill Center to discuss our movement for community-controlled development, a "people’s budget" that prioritizes services over special interests, and how we are using the Fair Election Fund to ensure our government answers only to neighbors, not corporate PACs.

I can't wait to hear your ideas for making Prince George’s County smart, strong, and accountable to everyone. Come out for the music and crafts, stay to register to vote, and let’s talk about how we win this primary together on June 23rd.
