Beyond the Farm Stand: Join Me at the Croom Farmer's Market! 🚜🗳️

You all know my spouse and I are regularly at the Croom Farmer's Market with hands in the dirt or, during the holidays, pulling on the big red suit to spread some cheer as Santa. But on Saturday, May 23rd, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, we’ll be showing up in a different capacity. I’ll be there with other candidates to participate in a Community Forum to talk about our movement for District 9 and the future we are building together.

As a local farmer and a democracy expert, I know that our land and our local economy are the heart of this district. For too long, South County has been treated as an afterthought, but we are proving that a people-powered campaign, funded by neighbors rather than corporate PACs and big developers, can actually change the status quo.

I want to hear your thoughts on how we protect our rural character while ensuring we finally get the reliable infrastructure and services our families deserve. Come by the market, grab your local produce, treats and gifts, and let’s have a real conversation about how we build a District 9 that is smart, strong, and accountable to us, not the well-connected few.
