Real Talk, Real Solutions: Join the Civic Dialogue this Saturday! 🗳️🏛️
I’ve had a blast participating in The People’s Agenda series so far, and I’m excited to keep that momentum going on Saturday, May 9th, at the "Voice Is Choice" Civic Dialogue Forum. This isn’t your average campaign stop, it’s an intense, policy-focused deep dive where the community gets to set the bar for accountability.
Between 9:30 AM and 12:30 PM, we’ll be tackling the issues that actually impact our daily lives in District 9, from infrastructure adequacy and environmental justice to ending the culture of "Government by Waiver". Candidates have a few minutes minutes to lay out our specific plans for community-controlled development and the opportunite to provide a clear, measurable commitment you can hold me to once I’m on the Council.
The best part of these forums is the Community Q&A round, where we get to hear directly from you. As a democracy expert, I believe that public engagement shouldn’t be symbolic, it should be binding. Come out, bring your toughest questions, and let’s discuss how we build a future that is smart, strong, and powered by neighbors, not corporate PACs.
