Endorsements & Pledges
What is a political endorsement? In politics, an endorsement is a public stamp of approval. It means a group has vetted my record, my values, and my vision, and decided I am the best person for the job of county council. These aren't just logos, they represent the neighbors and organizations I stand, and have stood, in solidarity with. From labor unions to democracy reformers, these endorsements prove that our campaign is rooted in the community and fueled by a shared commitment to a Prince George’s that isn't for sale.
What are these pledges? A pledge is more than just a campaign promise, it is a public contract of accountability. By signing these pledges, I am stating exactly where I stand on critical issues facing Prince George’s County, from protecting our environment to addressing gun violence. As a democracy expert, I believe leadership means showing your receipts. These pledges are my way of ensuring that you the voters have a clear baseline to hold me accountable to the values and policies I champion once I am on the Council
